With your ADT security system you will receive four channels of protection. Each of these channels provides a vital security service for your family. They are:

1. BURGLARY 2. POLICE EMERGENCY 3. THE THREAT OF FIRE 4. MEDICAL EMERGENCY

THE FIRST CHANNEL OF PROTECTION IS THE BURGLARY CHANNEL.

The keypad which we will place next to the door that you will use most often is how you will operate your security system. It is what you use to activate and deactivate the system, bypass zones in your home and even send for police, fire and medical help immediately. We can program seven individual security codes into your system so you may give a code to each of your children, any house guest, or relatives that may be visiting. Your main entry door is set on a 30 second delay so that you may enter and have time to deactivate the system. You arm and disarm your system using a master code. If the system is armed and someone enters the home from the main entrance your system will be triggered and there will be thirty seconds to deactivate the system. If they enter from another entrance or window that is monitored by the system or if they enter and trigger a motion detector the system will be triggered immediately and the alarm will sound and the authorities will be notified immediately that there has been a break in at your home.
